While mapping out Issue 4, we noticed a common thread that came from each of our featured artist’s submissions: approaching weddings as an opportunity for human connection, with the work created coming beautifully and organically second.

That’s why we knew Joanna’s work from this wedding needed to be featured. Joanna’s photography is playful and light on its feet, seemingly effortless despite how intentional she is with her choice of camera and experimental settings. We chatted about honesty in wedding photography, building trust with clients, and findings ways to play with our art.
